National Sex Offender Public Registry Web Site
On July 20,2005, the Office of Justice Programs announced the activation of its National Sex Offender Public Registry Web site, which provides real-time access to public sex offender data nationwide with a single Internet search. The Department-sponsored Web site allows parents and concerned citizens to search existing public state and territory sex offender registries beyond their own states. 
Funding Opportunities
The government is working to provide funding to tribes to improve tribal programs and criminal justice. Funding opportunities are available year round, so check back often for new listings.
